For those interested in purchasing and downloading our Bridge 8.0:
The bad news:
The PC version of the game will not work under Windows Vista, though it works fine in earlier versions of Windows.
The Macintosh version of the game will not work under OS-X unless you have Classic Mode, though it works fine in OS-9 and earlier.
The good news:
We have found an application for both Windows Vista and Mac OS-X that will allow our Bridge 8.0 to run under any version of windows or any version of Mac OS!
The application is called DosBox and can be downloaded for free at various sites on the internet. The developer's site is: http://www.dosbox.com or, you can download from here.
If you are running Vista, download the pc version of DosBox.
If you are running OS-X, download the Mac version of DosBox.
Important note!!! DosBox will only run PC applications. If you have the Mac version of the game, you will have to replace it with the PC version.
It will take some time for us to incorporate DosBox with the Bridge game itself. If you already have the PC version of Bridge 8.0, download DosBox and see how far you can get (it requires some knowledge of DOS to properly configure path information). We will update this notice with explicit directions on how to configure DosBox to run Bridge 8.0.
